 kinsuien は漢字で琴翠園とかきます。

これはこの gallery が その昔

美しい琴の音のように穏やかな波が打ち寄せることで

琴の海と呼ばれた湖のような湾を臨むことに由来します。

 この gallery でご紹介します…

品々は、様々な時を経て、主に大正から昭和初期に

ここ琴翠園に ご縁がつながり大切にお迎えした品々です。

骨董と呼ばれる時代物から、昭和のレトロもの、そして現代の道具や作品

携わった人々が魂を吹き込んだ品々...。

 このgalleryに訪れて頂いた皆様とご縁がありますように 

そして そばに寄り添い新たな主のもとで

愛され居場所を見つけ、何かを支える力になりますように…。

Kinsuien" is written in kanji as 琴翠園.

This name originates from the scenic view of this gallery, overlooking a serene sea

once called "Kotonoumi"—a place where gentle waves lapped the shore

with a beauty reminiscent of the sound of a koto that is a japanese harp.

The treasured Tsukumogami we introduced here at Kinsuien are items that have journeyed through time.

Many of them were carefully collected during the Taisho and early Showa eras and have been lovingly preserved ever since.

These items found their way to Kinsuien through meaningful connections and have been lovingly welcomed here.

They range from antiques of historical significance to retro pieces from the Showa era,

as well as modern tools and artworks—objects imbued with the spirits of those who crafted and cared for them.

I sincerely hope that those who visit this gallery will find a deep connection with these pieces.

May they find a place where they are cherished by their new owners, offering companionship and support
